Barron County Sheriff’s Office searching for potential armed robber
The Barron County Sheriff's Office is searching for this man, who is accused of robbing a hardware store in Rice Lake.
Law enforcement agencies are searching for a person they say robbed Jacobson’s Ace Hardware store Friday evening in Rice Lake, Wis.
WDIO-TV reports the robbery happened just after 7 p.m. on 28 South Main Street.
The suspect, identified as a male, allegedly told the employee to go to the register, from which the suspect took about $756. The employee didn’t see a gun, but the suspect had an object in his jacket pocket and gestured to it.
After the robbery, the suspect ran off. As of this time, police are still looking into whether or not the suspect had a vehicle.
The male was described as wearing a long dark gray jacket, dark blue jeans, a blue undershirt, a hat that was red, white and blue, and an American flag face mask.
