The University of Minnesota is celebrating 50 years of its Chicano and Latino Studies Department.
The department, along with the nonprofit Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES), commissioned six artists to respond to materials from the program’s archives, such as historical documents, photographs, poems, flyers and more.
The exhibit is open through May 16 at the CLUES Latino Art Gallery in St. Paul.
