Members of the Anoka County Sheriff’s Dispatch confirmed the issue shortly after midnight Monday morning. The outage is affecting Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center but could be more widespread.

Anyone who cannot call 911 is asked to use their local non-emergency number to contact dispatch. You can also still text 911.

The non-emergency line for Minneapolis residents is 612-348-2345, while other Hennepin County residents can use 952-258-5321.
