A little boy with a big heart helped another child in need with a simple donation.
A 9-year-old boy recently made a donation of $100 to Can Do Canines, the largest provider of assistance dogs in Minnesota.
"I thought it was way too much to keep and I knew it would just be better to give it to a charity," Simon Teece said.
Thanks to that donation, another little boy has the service dog he needs.
Teece, who donated the money, got to meet that boy on Thursday. Along with meeting him, Teece also brought some toys for Drake’s new service dog, Flynn.
Drake said he hopes Flynn will help pick up things, like his pencils, when he drops them at school and help keep him safe.
At the end of the weekend, Drake will get to take Flynn home.
