77-year-old man dies from fatal crash in Sherburne County

A 77-year-old man has died after a fatal crash in Sherburne County Friday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at 11:23 p.m., Brian Lee Johnson was driving a Buick Roadmaster northbound on Highway 24, approaching Highway 10 in Clear Lake Township when it drifted off the roadway to the right and struck a railroad crossing post at a high rate of speed.
The state patrol stated that the roads conditions were dry and that no alcohol was involved during the crash.
Johnson also had his seatbelt on during the crash.
No additional information has been given at this time.
