76-year-old River Falls man killed in St. Croix County crash

A 76-year-old man died after a crash Tuesday morning in western Wisconsin.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of a vehicle in a ditch near the intersection of Tower Road and Coulee Trail in Troy Township at 5:58 a.m. Deputies responded and found the driver, the lone person in the vehicle, already dead.
He was identified as Derwin A. Robey, of River Falls.
According to the sheriff’s office, Robey was westbound on Tower Road in a 2001 Ford Taurus when his car crossed over Coulee Trail, entered the ditch and struck a tree.
The crash remains under investigation.
