7-foot-long Triceratops skull uncovered in South Dakota

A 7-foot-long Triceratops skull has been uncovered in South Dakota.
A geology professor and students from Westminster College in Missouri were excavating fossil remains at the Grand River National Grassland last year when a rancher said he found something unusual coming out of the ground.
The group found it was the tip of a Triceratops horn.
They returned this summer and were able to unearth the entire skull, which weighed about 3,000 pounds.
The skull was taken to Missouri where it will now be restored.
