51-year-old man dies in single-motorcycle crash in Chisago County

A man died Sunday night in a motorcycle crash in Chisago County.

According to Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, at about 9:05 p.m., the Chisago County Emergency Communications Center received a report of a motorcycle crash near Jess Avenue and Sunrise Road in Harris, Minnesota.

Upon arrival to the scene, deputies located the lone occupant, a 51-year-old male driver, who was deceased.

An initial investigation suggests that the motorcyclist was traveling west on Sunrise Road near Jess Avenue when it left the road and crashed in the ditch.

The driver’s identification is being withheld at this time until family can be notified.

The crash is under investigation.
