40-year-old woman struck by vehicle in Inver Grove Heights

A pedestrian in Inver Grove Heights was struck by a vehicle when crossing the road, according to Inver Grove Heights Police Department. 

According to a news release, officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at 8:57 p.m. Saturday in the 8900 block of Broderick Boulevard.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 40-year-old woman who had been by a vehicle when crossing the road. 

The woman was taken to Regions Hospital with injuries. The severity of her injuries is unknown.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities and showed no signs of impairment, according to the release.

Police are still investigating the crash. More information will be released at a later time.
