$300 reward offered for information related to damaged, stolen signs in Le Sueur County

On Thursday, Le Suer County Sheriff Brett Mason announced a $300 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person or people involved in a series of damaged and stolen road signs that have occurred recently in Lanesburgh and Montgomery Township in Le Sueur County.

According to a release, the sheriff’s office in recent weeks has received several reports indicating damaged and/or stolen road signs from citizens and township board representatives.

The sheriff said that evidence from the location of these damaged signs would indicate the sign was intentionally run over and on several locations, the sign itself was removed from the post and stolen.

The damaged and stolen road signs include stop and yield signs, which if removed or run over, creates a hazard at the intersection for vehicles traveling.

Anyone with any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) involved in these damaged and stolen road signs is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 507-357-4440 and ask to speak with an investigator. They can also be contacted by email.
