3-year-old airlifted to hospital after being pulled from Otter Tail County pool

A 3-year-old was airlifted to a hospital Friday afternoon after a near-drowning in Otter Tail County.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called at about 2:14 p.m. about a child who’d been pulled from the water unconscious at the Eagle Lake public swimming area.

Three people at the scene started CPR before authorities arrived, the sheriff’s office said.

The child was then airlifted to a hospital in unknown condition.
