3 stabbings occur just over an hour apart in Minneapolis, police investigating
The Minneapolis Police Department and Minneapolis Park Police are investigating after three stabbings happened in Minneapolis Thursday night.
According to Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder, one stabbing occurred on the 1600 block of 4th Street S at about 8:30 p.m. Elder said it was a domestic situation that involves injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
Another stabbing was reported around 9:21 p.m., in the area of Chicago Avenue and S 6th Street. A man suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening in that incident.
A third stabbing was reported about 20 minutes later at Peavey Park. A man was stabbed and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Police do not believe these incidents are related to one another. All incidents are under investigation.
