3 injured after 3 separate shootings in Minneapolis

Three victims suffer from gunshot wounds after three separate shootings in Minneapolis Friday night and Saturday morning.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 10:36 p.m., a victim arrived at North Memorial Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Police said the victim was being uncooperative and could only remember that it happened “somewhere in Minneapolis.”

The next incident happened at 11:45 p.m. A man believed to be in his 30s approached officers working at a fatal crash scene and advised that he had been shot. The victim was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was in the area and heard gunfire and realized he had been shot. EMS responded and provided aid.

The third incident happened at 7:41 a.m. on Saturday when officers responded to multiple 911 calls of the sound of shots fired. While en route, officers were advised that a shooting had occurred in an apartment near 9th Street South.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center via ambulance. The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was shot by a known suspect, and the suspect fled before officers arrived, said police.

All incidents are under investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time.
