3 arrested following Minneapolis police pursuit

Three people were arrested in connection to a police pursuit that occurred Wednesday morning in Minneapolis, according to police. 

A spokesperson with the Minneapolis Police Department said officers were called just after 4 a.m. on a report of a person being forced into a car near Target Field. 

Police were able to locate the vehicle, leading to a pursuit. 

The pursuit went into St. Paul briefly and later ended at Interstate 494 and Portland Avenue. 

Police said there were two women who had outstanding warrants in the car with the driver. According to police, the two women gave conflicting stories about what happened in the car. 

The driver and the two women were taken into custody.
