2020 Election: Updates for metro races

Follow the latest updates regarding local races in the Twin Cities metro.

The results below are from the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office:


Hennepin County Board of Commissioners race:

County Commissioner District 1:

As of 9:48 p.m., Jeff Lunde leads against De’Vonna Pittman 50% to 48% with all precincts reporting.

County Commissioner District 5:

As of 9:48 p.m., Debbie Goettel leads against Boni Njenga 73% to 25% with all precincts reporting.

County Commissioner District 6:

As of 9:48 p.m., Chris LaTondresse leads against Dario Anselmo 52% to 46% with all precincts reporting.

County Commissioner District 7:

As of 9:48 p.m., Kevin Anderson leads against Danny Nadeau 51% to 48% with all precincts reporting.


Ramsey County Board of Commissioners:

County Commissioner District 1:

As of 11:29 p.m., Nicole Joy Frethem is leading against Dennis Dunnigan 65% to 33% with all precincts reporting.

County Commissioner District 2:

As of 11:29 p.m., Mary Jo McGuire is leading against Dan McGrath 69% to 29% with all precincts reporting.

County Commissioner District 7:

As of 11:29 p.m., Victoria Reinhardt is leading against Kevin Berglund 64% to 34% with all precincts reporting.


Minneapolis Public Schools Board of Education:

School Board Member at Large:

As of 9:48 p.m., Kim Ellison leads against Michael Duenes 61% to 38% with all precincts reporting.

School Board Member District 2:

As of 9:48 p.m, Sharon El-Amin leads against KerryJo Felder 54% to 44% with all precincts reporting.

School Board Member District 4:

As of 9:48 p.m, Adriana Cerrillo leads against Christa Mims 49.9% to 49.2% with all precincts reporting.

School Board Member District 6:

As of 9:48 p.m, Ira Jourdain leads is 97% of votes.


St. Paul Public Schools Board of Education:

School Board Member at Large:

Jim Vue is leading the race against five other candidates with all precincts reporting.
