200 families given breakfast-to-go with Santa in north Minneapolis

In north Minneapolis on Saturday, 200 families had breakfast-to-go with Santa.

It’s a 2020 twist on a decades-long event at the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center. Families were able to pull up, get breakfast, get toys for the kids and gift cards for families.

"We wanted to make sure… not only are your kids going to get some gifts but in case you need food or some more essential supplies, you’re able to get that for your family," said Quanda Arch, community resource liaison with the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center.

All donations were supplied by different organizations.
