2-year-old run over by vehicle in Ramsey, airlifted to hospital

A toddler is hospitalized after being run over by a vehicle in Ramsey on Wednesday.

Ramsey Police and Fire said crews were called to Brookside Elementary School at around 9:15 a.m. on a report that a child had been run over.

Paramedics provided aid to the 2-year-old until the child could be airlifted to a hospital.

Authorities didn’t say what condition the toddler was in Wednesday afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
