2-year-old rescued from liquid manure pit in Farming Township
A 2-year-old child was rescued from a liquid manure pit in Farming Township, Monday evening.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a reported farming accident on the 22000 block of 300th Street at about 8 p.m.
Albany Fire and Rescue located the boy about a foot from the edge of the manure pit with both of his legs and his right arm submerged, the sheriff's office said. They were then able to use a rope to pull the boy out.
The sheriff's office said the boy wasn't injured.
