2 men shot at gas station in Minneapolis’ Near North neighborhood

Police are investigating a shooting that left two men injured at a Holiday gas station late Wednesday afternoon in north Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to the 1600 block of Washington Avenue North and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers provided medical care until paramedics arrived. Both victims were then taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police said they are not searching for any suspects because it appears the two got into a fight and shot at each other. Officers found guns at the scene.

In an update Thursday, police say both men had guns and fired shots at each other. A suspect has been identified and charges are expected to be filed by the end of the week.
