2 killed in 3-vehicle crash near New Prague

Two people died Monday night following a three-vehicle crash in Scott County.
A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says it happened just after 6 p.m.
A 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 and a 2005 Buick LaCrosse were both headed east on Highway 19, just east of New Prague. As they got near Joel D Lane, a westbound 2010 GMC Sierra crossed over into the eastbound lanes and hit both vehicles, according to the crash report.
The driver of the Buick — identified as 43-year-old Heather Nichole Nelson — died at the scene, as did the driver of the GMC, 38-year-old Jordan Cole Bailey. The driver of the Dodge suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a hospital, the report adds.
No other people were in the vehicles and no additional injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
