2 injured from different incidents in Minneapolis, no one in custody
A man is suffering from a gunshot wound and another man suffers from a stabbing in two separate incidents in Minneapolis Friday night.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 10:31 p.m., a man showed up at Abbott Northwestern Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police said information as to what led up to the shooting and where it happened are currently being evaluated.
About an hour later, at 11:39 p.m., police responded to a report of a victim down at the 3000 block of 17th Avenue South.
Once officers arrived at the scene, they located a man suffering from an apparent stab wound.
The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by paramedics, where he is being treated.
Investigators interviewed him and preliminary investigation indicates robbery may have been a motive for the encounter. No one is in custody.
Both incidents are under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
