2 found dead in River Falls, investigation underway

The two deceased were identified as Morgan Maher, 24, and Nicholas Scott Ryan, 29. Police have not released their causes of death.

An investigation is underway in River Falls, Wisconsin, after two people were found deceased during a welfare check Saturday.

River Falls police say that authorities responded to the 1500 block of Golf View Drive for a welfare check. They found a 24-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both River Falls residents, deceased.

Police say there is no active threat to the community and the deaths are under investigation.
