2 arrested after shooting outside Brooklyn Park apartments
Two people were arrested Monday afternoon following a shooting outside an apartment building in Brooklyn Park.
According to Brooklyn Park Police, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6300 block of Boone Avenue North, near Autumn Ridge Apartments, at 1:35 p.m.
There, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds that were not considered to be life-threatening.
Officers learned someone in a passing vehicle fired multiple shots at a group of people who were standing in the parking lot. One of the people hit by gunfire fired back at the vehicle, which fled the scene.
Police said two suspects were later arrested.
The shooting remains under investigation.
