1950s wedding dress claimed after couple finds it in crawl space in their home

An 83-year-old woman living in the Twin Cities will soon be reunited with her wedding dress thanks to a curious Fergus Falls couple.

The couple noticed a door inside a crawl space in their home recently. When they looked to see what was inside, they found the dress from the 1950s boxed up.

The couple then posted their find on Facebook and that’s when someone reached out to tell them she recognized the short-sleeved dress from her parents’ wedding photos.

The woman is now on her way to retrieve it. She said as soon as COVID-19 restrictions lift, she plans to take it to her mother’s care center.
