18-year-old killed, 20-year-old critically injured in Rochester shooting

One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in Rochester early Friday morning.

KAAL-TV, a Hubbard-owned station, reports Rochester police were called to The Villages at Essex Park just before 3:30 a.m.

Officers found two people shot in a hallway. Both were taken to a hospital.

An 18-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 20-year-old remained in critical condition Friday night.

Police said the shooting appeared to stem from some sort of argument.

No arrests have been made.

An investigation is ongoing.
