1 victim suffering from gunshot wound in Minneapolis

An adult male victim suffered a gunshot wound early Sunday morning in Minneapolis, according to the Minneapolis Police Department. 

At 3:01 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2400 block of 18th Avenue South. 

Officers were able to locate an adult male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance. 

The suspect fled before the officer’s arrival.
