1 victim injured from domestic-related stabbing, suspect in custody

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a domestic-related stabbing Sunday morning that caused an injury to one victim. 

According to police, at 5:29 a.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic-related stabbing at 4400 block of Minnehaha Avenue South. 

Once officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim outside with a non-life-threatening injury. 

The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance. 

The suspect is an adult female who has fled into the house but was later apprehended and booked into Hennepin County Adult Detention Center. 

The case is under investigation and no further information is available.
