1 taken to hospital following UTV crash in Pierce County

Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital following a utility-terrain vehicle crash near River Falls, Wisconsin. 

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office said authorities were called just after 8 p.m. Friday on the report of a UTV crash in Clifton Township.

Authorities learned a UTV driven by 33-year-old Andrew Lacy had overturned in a farm field. The sheriff's office said Lacy was partially ejected and the UTV landed on him. 

Lacy's passenger suffered minor injuries, according to the sheriff's office. 

Lacy was taken to an area hospital with undetermined injuries.
