1 taken to hospital after fire in St. Paul

One person was taken to a hospital after a house fire in east St. Paul Wednesday night.
St. Paul Fire said crews responded to the 400 block of Griffith Street, near the intersection of Griffith and Euclid streets in St. Paul's Dayton's Bluff neighborhood, at about 9:05 p.m.
The cold temperatures and below-zero windchills made it difficult, but firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly, the fire department said.
One person was taken to a hospital, but no other injuries were reported. That person's condition is unclear.
The fire is under investigation.
