1 person seriously injured, 9 apartment units displaced after New Hope fire

A person was seriously injured in an apartment fire on the 4500 block of Winnetka Ave. around 1 a.m. Saturday in New Hope, according to West Metro Fire. The person was brought to the hospital.

All 24 units were displaced overnight and nine units will remain displaced until repairs can be made to the building, fire officials said.

Red Cross was called to the scene to help those in need.
