1 killed in New Richmond shooting, 2 in custody
Police say two people are in custody following a shooting that left one man dead in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
According to the police department, officers were called at about 9:40 p.m. on the report of a shooting on the 600 block of West 8th Street.
When officers arrived, they found a 52-year-old man who suffered from a gunshot wound. The man, later identified as Richard Rose, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Two suspects fled the scene and were located and taken into custody. The names of the suspects have yet to be released.
