1 injured, no one in custody for shooting at Crosstown Market
Minneapolis police say a man is recovering from what are described as potentially life-threatening injuries following a shooting Wednesday.
According to police, officers were called to the Crosstown Market, located on the 5700 block of 34th Avenue South, shortly before 6 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the man was inside of a business when shots were fired outside.
Police say there may have been an argument that began at a different location that then went inside the business right before shots were fired, but are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
Police say they’re also looking into whether the injured man knew the people who may have been arguing.
No other injuries were reported, and currently, no one is in custody for the shooting.
Police say the injured man was taken to Hennepin Healthcare.
