1 injured in St. Paul stabbing

Authorities say a man was injured after being stabbed during an altercation in St. Paul early Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers were called to St. John's Hospital in Maplewood on the report of a man who suffered a stab wound to his arm. Police say the wound is not considered life-threatening.

The victim told police he was having vehicle problems and that he stopped at Magnolia Avenue and Hazelwood Street. While he was stopped, the man got into an altercation with two men and was unknowingly stabbed.

The man told police his wife later noticed blood and took him to the hospital.
