1 injured in shooting in Marcy Holmes neighborhood

Police say one person was injured early Thursday morning after a shooting in the Marcy Holmes neighborhood in Minneapolis.

Officials with the Minneapolis Police Department said officers were called just before 1:30 a.m. to the area of Fourth Street Southeast and Fourth Avenue Southeast on the report of shots fired.

When police arrived, they found shell casings but no victim.

Police say a man later came to North Memorial with a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.

Police do not have a suspect in custody at this time.
