1 injured in North Minneapolis shooting

A man is in critical condition following a shooting in North Minneapolis.

Police officials said officers were called just before 6:45 p.m. to the 2500 block of Golden Valley Road on the report of "unknown trouble."

While en route, police learned that a shooting had occurred.

When police arrived, they found a man who suffered a gunshot wound. The man was taken to North Memorial Hospital.

Police said it is believed the victim and the suspect knew each other. Police did not say if a suspect is in custody at this time.
