1 injured from shooting in Minneapolis
A victim suffered from a gunshot wound Saturday night in Minneapolis.
According to Minneapolis police, at 9:05 p.m., officers responded to 3800 block of Minnehaha Avenue South on a report of a man who had collapsed from the result of a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, officers realized the victim matched the description of a robbery suspect from minutes earlier.
The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with injuries considered to be not life-threatening. Detectives from multiple units are looking into this case.
An investigation underway with no additional information available at this time said police.
