1 injured following stabbing in Brooklyn Park

A woman was stabbed in Brooklyn Park on Thursday night.

According to a release from the Brooklyn Park Police Department, officers responded to a call about a stabbing at an apartment complex on the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue North.

When officers arrived, they located a woman with a knife wound that was not considered life-threatening. The woman allegedly suffered the injury during an altercation with another woman.

Officers were given a suspect vehicle description and the vehicle was located and stopped within the apartment complex.

The suspect was taken into custody at that time.
