1 injured after hearing gunshots in Minneapolis

A bullet from a shooting wounded a victim Friday night after hearing several shots in Minneapolis.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 10:11 p.m., near 100 block of 15th Street, a victim was standing in the area of the street when he and his friends heard several gunshots.

The adult male victim had his hat knocked off and felt pain in his head. He reached up and realized he had received a graze wound by a bullet, said police.

The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

No further information is available at the time. The incident will remain under investigation.
