1 injured after crash involving semi in Richfield

One person was injured Thursday night after a crash in Richfield that involved a semi.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 35W near 76th Street.
The incident report says a Ford Taurus spun out on the freeway. While the vehicle was spinning out, it made contact with the semi, according to the state patrol.
The state patrol said the passenger of the Ford Taurus, identified as 16-year-old Janeth Neomi Ordonez, suffered injuries that are considered life-threatening. Information for the 16-year-old driver of the vehicle was not provided.
The driver of the semi did not suffer any injuries.
