1 injured after armed robbery in Brooklyn Park

A man was injured after being robbed at gunpoint in Brooklyn Park Wednesday.

According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, at 10:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 8500 block of Jefferson Lane North on the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a business had been robbed at gunpoint. Police said a male employee had been shot one time in the leg during the incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.

The incident remains under investigation. No one has been arrested at this time.
