1 hurt in shooting on St. Paul’s West Side

A man is injured after he was shot Wednesday morning in the West Side area of St. Paul.

Police say around 8:44 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 600 block of Kansas Avenue. There they found a man who had been shot in the leg and in the back.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital and is expected to survive.

The shooting remains under investigation, however, police say the victim has been uncooperative so far.

No suspects have been arrested.
