1 hospitalized after rescue from Hastings house fire
Firefighters say one person is recovering from injuries after being rescued from a house fire Wednesday in Hastings.
According to the Hastings Fire Department, crews were called to Villa Court just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Multiple departments were brought in to help after firefighters found a working fire in the back of the home.
Fire officials say the one person who was home at the time was rescued from a window, with the help of police.
According to firefighters, they were able to have the fire controlled by 2:06 p.m., however, crews were at the scene until 5 p.m.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
