1 dead in Wabasha County motorcycle crash
One woman is dead after a motorcycle crash on Saturday in Hyde Park Township, the Wabasha County Sheriff says.
The sheriff’s office responded to the incident around 7:46 p.m. and found two people with injuries at the scene.
Responders began life-saving measures for the woman, 40-year-old Rebecca Kahn of Plainview, who had been riding as a passenger.
Kahn later died at the scene.
The motorcycle’s driver, a 44-year-old man from Plainview, sustained minor injuries and was treated at Mayo Clinic.
Authorities’ initial investigation indicates the motorcyclists swerved to miss a deer on 350th Avenue when they crashed.
