1 arrested after two people struck by vehicle in Becker County

A 28-year-old man was arrested Monday after authorities say two people were struck by a vehicle he was driving.

According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were called at 9:30 a.m. on the report of a vehicle striking two people in the parking lot of a convenience store in Lake Park.

The vehicle immediately fled the area after the incident. Authorities were able to obtain a vehicle description, locate it and arrest the driver.

Authorities identified the driver at Travis Garret Job.

The two victims, identified as a 72-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, were taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
