1 arrested after Sunday morning pursuit ends on 35W

On Sunday morning, Bloomington police were called to a report of a man sleeping in his running car at an intersection.
When officers arrived, they woke the man, and he started fleeing.
Officers pursued the vehicle. The Burnsville Police Department helped by placing stop sticks while the man was fleeing on Interstate 35W. The sticks were able to disable one tire.
Police performed a PIT maneuver and stopped the vehicle shortly after.
The driver was arrested.
This is an ongoing investigation, and police may release more information later.
