1 arrested, 1 hospitalized after northeast Minneapolis shooting

A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a shooting early Tuesday morning in northeast Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to a report of a shooting along the 2300 block of Jefferson Street Northeast shortly before 3:30 a.m.

There, officers found a man matching the suspect’s description and took him into custody.

Inside the home, police found the victim and provided aid until medics arrived and took him to a hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
