Seafood restaurant Grand Catch in St. Paul closing

Next Saturday marks the final day of business for a seafood restaurant along Grand Avenue in St. Paul.

According to a post on its website, Grand Catch representatives say they will serve their last meal on April 30 after making the decision not to renew their lease.

“It’s been a fantastic four and a half years with lots of highs (and some major lows,)” the statement reads. “We are extremely grateful to all of our employees, past and present, for having been an important part of this wonderful ride. Your hard work and dedication is unparalleled. A huge thank you to the guests that supported us throughout our journey, we couldn’t have done it without you.”

Located near the Macalester College campus, the space housed a café before Grand Catch opened in 2018.

Restaurant representatives say gift cards for the restaurant will be honored until the last day of service. The cards are not transferable.
