Minneapolis bar Part Wolf permanently closing in late January

Minneapolis bar Part Wolf, formerly known as The Nomad, has announced it will be permanently closing in late January.

The bar and music venue, located along Cedar Avenue in the West Bank neighborhood, announced on social media that its last day of business will be Jan. 28.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS talked to the business, which cited the ongoing pandemic as the reason for the closure. They said the bar will be open for three more nights: Friday, Jan. 21, Saturday, Jan. 22, and Friday, Jan. 28. The final night will include live music.

In the online post, the bar thanked customers and staff for helping create an "amazing community and space." Part Wolf also said they were grateful to be a part of the history of the West Bank of Minneapolis.
