Spring market aims to draw more people to downtown Minneapolis

Organizers of a new retail project are aiming to bring more people to downtown Minneapolis this spring.
Tuesday, organizers of The Dayton’s Project launched The Departments at Dayton’s, a spring makers market.
The market is located on the first floor of the newly redeveloped Dayton’s Project, an office and retail building located at 700 Nicollet Mall.
Nearly 40 vendors will be a part of the market.
In addition, members of The Dayton’s Project say the market will also include an Artist Corner that will feature work by a former Dayton’s employee and three other local artists.
