CenturyLink to close St. Paul facility; 54 employees affected

CenturyLink will permanently close a customer service center in St. Paul in the spring, according to a notice sent to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

According to the notice, 54 employees will be affected by the closure.

The letter adds that regular, represented employees will be able to pursue other jobs within the company or take severance benefits.

The facility is expected to close on May 21.

No reason for the closure was stated.
